Fitted with the perfectly contoured, 6", high-density mattress, the memory foam of Journey Upbed Independence is tailor-made for special needs. Loaded with the heat sensitive feature, the mattress folds, bends and tucks amazingly to any position you set you Upbed Independence with. Securely attached to the base frame in a zippered, removable cover, this memory foam holds shape, prevents sinking and fits every curve of your form ensuring a good night's sleep.
Engineered for Comfort
The tethered six-button remote enhances your ability to elevate head, leg, sit up, adjust to a chair position, raise or lower the Upbed Independence with ease. You can also rotate a full 90° to help you gently incline and rise out of the bed with minimal intrusion.
Safe and Easy to Handle
Upbed Independence boasts of a motion sensitive underbed safety light to keep your immediate surrounding lit just enough for you to change positions. The wired remote is clipped on to the padded armrest and is within reach. It includes a head-up and leg-down button to switch between watching TV or reading a book. Comes with a couple of USB power outlets in the base.

Difficult to put together, would recommend paying the company to do White glove delivery. Other than that the bed is great and comfortable.
