This mattress is crafted with more than 800 individually articulating cells. A simple dial adjusts the comfort level, and on/off buttons control the air flow and activate the alternating pressure feature. The mattress' design ensures a continuous air current and ensures that the air flows through an uninterrupted path. Additionally, a 2” deep topper reduces skin shear while helping to keep the patient from being “swallowed up” by the mattress. A Heel Slope design helps to further reduce heel pressure, while the mattress itself effectively redistributes the patient's pressure while reducing heat.
The Pressureguard Easy Air Mattress is a top performer when it comes to moisture removal, too. The outer coverlet is fluidproof, but is highly vapor permeable, and can be washed or wiped clean and disinfected.
