In non-powered mode this self adjusting mattress regulates pressure by reacting to the useres positon in the bed through a series of interconnected air tubes. With the additional of the add on control unit this mattress will provide active treatment by delivering powered alternating pressure. The Span Care provides both outstnading clinincal outcomes while still providing an amazingly comfortable sleeping expereince. The air and foam combination design provies the look and feel of a tradtional foam mattress while delivering unrivaled wound healing capabilites. The patened Span America safety edge naturally rolls users back to the center of the bed if they get to close to the edge and provides a sold base for pateints to sit on the edge of the bed without falling during transfers.
The ideal choice for home used as the bed can be used with or with out power in the case of a power outage!
